I've always had a huge imagination - ever since I was a kid, I'd be making up stories and characters. TTRPGs are like my dream come true! They let me bring all those ideas to life and share them with others.
My games are a total grab-bag of inspiration – think books, video games, anime, movies – you name it! If it's cool and creative, it's probably snuck its way into my worldbuilding.
Most of all, I love crafting campaigns that really pull players in - exciting challenges, thought-provoking moments, and a whole lot of fun along the way!
As a Game Master, I focus on roleplaying and creating thought-provoking, inspiring stories. I strive to make sessions fun and engaging for my players, taking their input very seriously. Player creativity is highly valued at my table, and I'm flexible with rules—often bending or adding new ones if it benefits the story and enhances the game. The rule of cool definitely applies!

As a Game Master I love a world where a player's actions can have far reaching consequences. I enjoy roleplay, and enjoy providing details regarding scenes and characters. I will attempt to do different voices and accents to distinguish NPCs from one another. I am no voice expert, but either it will turn out awesome or you get to watch me fail rather spectacularly.. win-win eh? :D
I favor roleplay a bit, especially character backstories and motivations. I love working with my players to figure out what drives their characters so that we can weave their tale into the journey as well as reward their dedication in some fun ways. You can expect that some types of enemies will employ strategies and combat tactics to capture, trap, and immobilize you.
In combat I generally stick closely to the game's rules as written, though creative usage of abilities is not discouraged if reasonable. Overall, I can be both a stickler for the rules as well as a fly by the seat of my pants kind of DM. So strap in for a rollercoaster :D Also, I will happily spend time with new players to help them settle in on my own time.

About me
I'm Darian, 20, and I survive Long Island traffic daily. I work with cars, love survival games, and have the cutest poodle named Fendy. My humor tends towards the darkly comedic and sarcastic. Expect dry wit and the occasional pun so bad it's good. I love to joke around and keep the mood light.
While I'm new to DMing, I've been a passionate TTRPG player for over a year and storytelling and character immersion are my true passions. I'm eager to take the helm as a DM for the first time, and my solid understanding of the rules gives me the confidence to create a fantastic experience. As a beginner DM myself, I especially welcome new players and am dedicated to fostering a fun and supportive learning environment for everyone.

I run a challenging but rewarding game, with a focus on roleplay and really getting into character. I love seeing players bring their characters to life, and I encourage everyone to embrace the fun of acting out their roles. Combat encounters can be tough, but they're designed to be engaging and exciting, not just a slog. Think strategically, work as a team, and you'll overcome even the most daunting challenges. I'm a fair DM, but I believe in earning your victories, so expect to work for them!
